I used to be you.

Hi, I’m Christina.

Back when my husband was running his F&B business, money would just disappear—like water down a leaky faucet. I was working full-time in corporate finance, juggling motherhood and the occasional baby bonus (thank you, Singapore), but we still couldn’t seem to make things work.

I remember the day I looked at his business account and thought, “Wait, where did it all go?” It wasn’t that we weren’t earning. It’s that the money never seemed to stick.

And yes, I had a corporate title. I was managing finance for a listed company. You’d think I had it all figured out. But when it came to running a household and supporting a business from the ground up—I realised I didn’t know how to make it work in real life.

That moment changed everything.

How I went from dedicated "yes" accountant

constantly chasing my boss’s expectations,

to empowering hundreds of entrepreneurs

to build a profitable business.

The Shift

I didn’t plan to become a business owner. I didn’t plan to run a firm. I was just trying to help my husband stay in business—and maybe stop the money leaks.

But one thing led to another.

I saw that most entrepreneurs weren’t failing because they weren’t working hard. They were failing because the money side of the business felt like a black hole.

So I started helping other business owners too. First it was friends, then friends of friends, and before long, I had a whole practice. That’s how CFOSg was born.

Fast forward 10 years ...

I went from accountant to entrepreneur, running my own accounting firm and helping hundreds of entrepreneurs implement smarter financial systems. It all started with a desire to help my husband’s business.

(I went from accountant to entrepreneur, running my own accounting firm (something I never imagined “one day”) and helping hundreds of entrepreneurs implement Xero in their businesses. It all started with a desire to help my husband’s business.)

But here’s what most people don’t see:

I had a successful professional career. Wonderful kids. A condo. A car. Supportive parents, in-laws and siblings. A loving husband.

At the time, I genuinely believed I was happy. I had no reason to question it—until that moment I stood on stage at a self-development course. The audience was told to raise their hands if they could feel my emotion.

I smiled. I said I felt happy.

No one raised their hand.

The coach came over and gently asked, “What are you feeling right now?”

That’s when it hit me: I wasn’t truly happy—I was performing a kind of happiness shaped by societal conditioning. The kind we’re taught to be grateful for.

There was another turning point when my husband and I sat and chatted at the poolside.

We’d been working so hard—but for what?

To buy houses and leave a lot of money for them?

We said we wanted to raise kids with strong character—but what were we really teaching them if we hardly spent time with them?

We knew we had to design a business that didn’t just give us money, but gave us time.
Time with them. Time for us. Time to live a life we’re proud of.

That realisation sparked a turning point.

That shift didn’t just change how we lived—it changed how I worked, too.

It Was Never Just About the Numbers

I know what it’s like to feel like your business is doing “okay” but still have no idea where the money went.

That’s why I don’t just show clients how to track revenue and expenses. I teach them how to see their numbers differently—so they can actually keep more of what they earn.

Because what’s the point of a great month if you still can’t pay yourself?

I’m a systems person. I like when things click into place. When your money, time, and team are all working in sync. When your business supports your life, not the other way around.

The Real Reason I Do This

Sure, I’m an Accountant. A CFO. A Spring Certified Management Consultant. Xero and QuickBooks Certified Advisor.

But at the end of the day, I’m a mum.

I’m also an introvert and a systems-loving accountant—not someone who naturally gravitates to sales or the spotlight. But I pushed through the fear, learned entrepreneurship, and even did sales—not for the thrill of it, but because I wanted to create a future my kids could learn from

And when I started making smarter decisions with money, I noticed something: My kids were watching. Not what I said—but what I did.

Today, both my sons are in university and already running their own businesses. They grew up with this mindset. Not because I taught it—but because I lived it.

(And that’s what keeps me going.)

That’s why I live what I teach—because our kids learn more from what we model than what we say.

When you model good money decisions, your kids follow. Your team follows.

Your business changes.

That’s the ripple effect.

Here’s My Biggest Win

We play to our strengths. I handle the accounting and profit strategies for my husband’s business, while he works his magic in marketing and design for mine.

We used to argue a lot, but now we bounce ideas off each other—and even include our children in the conversation. Through all the trial and error, we found a rhythm that worked—not just in business, but in life.

That’s when I realised: building a thriving business isn’t just about the skills and tools—it’s about how you think, act, and design your life—with intention.

The secret isn’t in a fancy spreadsheet, an app, or a book.

Sure, tools like Xero helped, but the real magic lies in starting with the end in mind, staying adaptable because in business change is the only constant, and ultimately, connecting the dots (as Steve Jobs famously said) to piece the whole puzzle.

How did I find out this Secret?

1. Begin with the End in Mind

I passed my ACCA and CFA exams in record time—even earning a gold medal. I didn’t do it by accident—I did it with intention. I set firm deadlines, reverse engineered my plan, and never lost sight of the finish line. That same mindset powers how I help clients hit their financial targets.

2. Embrace Change

After two decades with public listed companies, I saw the lack of good systems and moved toward smarter solutions like Xero. That change taught me: evolution is essential. In life and in business.

3. Connect the Dots

Just as McDonald’s founder Ray Kroc borrowed ideas from other industries, I immersed myself in marketing and technology. I discovered that accounting and marketing share a common language—numbers. By embracing insights from across fields, I began to see how every part of a business are interlinked—truly connecting the dots.

Relentless Evolution

Working with entrepreneurs (like my husband!) taught me that most business owners aren’t trying to avoid the numbers. They just don’t have a system that makes sense to them.

So I started learning beyond accounting—behavioral finance, psychology, operations, and marketing. I became obsessed with simplifying complexity.

That’s why I created my CPR blueprint, combining cash, profit, and revenue strategies into something you can actually understand—and apply.

Legacy isn’t just about what we leave behind—it’s about how we operate today.

Building a profitable, sustainable business hasn’t just helped me—it’s shaped the next generation too.

You don’t need to “teach” your kids about money. Just show them.

When you live with clarity and purpose, they absorb it. That’s how my sons learned. That’s how legacies are built.

One of the first mindset shifts I guide clients through in the CPR blueprint is rethinking the traditional formula we’ve all been taught.

Flipping the Money Script

You’ve probably seen the usual accounting formula: Revenue – Expenses = Profit

But I flip it: Revenue – Profit = Expenses

You take your profit first.

This approach is how I help clients begin with the end in mind.

You deserve to pay yourself. You deserve clarity. And yes—you deserve profit.

“I’m Not A Numbers Person!"

That’s okay. Most of my clients aren’t either.

Good news—I am. So you don’t have to be.

I’ve helped hundreds of business owners who felt overwhelmed, confused, or downright allergic to numbers.

They weren’t bad with money. They just didn’t have the right lens.

Not Just the Numbers Gal

Recovering Perfectionist. Still Obsessed With Systems.

I’m a recovering perfectionist—accountant by trade, systems person by obsession.

After 30 years of spreadsheets, strategy, and screw-ups, here’s what I know:
You don’t need perfect numbers. You need a perfectly aligned system.

Once that clicks? Profit doesn’t just show up—it sticks around.

Helping clients get to that point took more than just accounting.

Over the years, I’ve picked up the basics of marketing, tech, and strategy—not to become an expert in everything, but to make sure the systems I build actually support how the business grows.

Once I realised marketing and accounting both speak numbers—I started mixing them like a cocktail.

I’ve helped hundreds of entrepreneurs stop flying blind by turning gut instinct into data-backed decisions.

I don’t just balance books. I connect the dots—between your numbers, your goals, and the life you actually want to live.

Numbers aren’t scary when they tell a story.

I just help you write one where the ending = profit.
